A short month for the Product team is no excuse for shipping less changes on the application, improving its functionality one update at a time! Having our users’ experience as our focus, and taking into account their feedback and feature requests, we have upgraded our Legacy Flows to Trails - read below 👇🏼
As always, we’d love to hear your comments and feedback on the updates we provide regularly. Share them in our Slack Community or reach out to the support team at support@kosli.com
Snapshotting one Kubernetes namespace with limited permissions
Starting from CLI v2.11.4 and k8s reporter helm chart v1.6.0, you can snapshot a single Kubernetes namespace without needing cluster-wide permissions.
Check the chart documentation for more information.
Fingerprinting OCI images with Kosli CLI
Starting from CLI v2.11.2, it is possible to fingerprint an OCI container image from any OCI container registry in all kosli attest commands and the kosli fingerprint command. Just set --artifact-type=oci
and if your image is private, add registry credentials with --registry-username
and --registry-password
flags.
Introducing Trails: A Major Upgrade to Legacy Flows
The Legacy Flows are evolving into something better - to Trails! This upgrade brings more flexibility and scalability to your value stream mapping. While Legacy Flows were great for simple processes, Trails takes it further by letting you track complex workflows across multiple domains.
With Trails you’ll now have enhanced visibility and control over both your software delivery and business operations. If you are a user of the Legacy Flows, your existing Flows will automatically appear in the new Trails interface.
We’ve created a quick video guide to walk you through the new UI and help you make the most of these improvements.
